The Bible teaches to play skillfully upon the instruments as you praise and worship the Lord. Each service is equiped with skilled musicians to help usher in the presence of the Lord.
Choirs & Praise Teams
Our music ministry has two Praise Teams and five choirs that sing in their course to set the atmosphere of praise and worship. For special events throughout the year, the Mass Choir brings these voices together as one sound of harmony.
Decision Counselors receive those persons who respond to the invitation to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior or to unite with the church as a member of Bates Memorial. They are available at every worship service and church activity.
Members of the Drama and Dance Ministry provide opportunities for children and adults to fellowship and minister to the saved and unsaved thru various Christ-Centered productions. Various forms of the arts are used, ranging from Acting to Mime; Stepping; Hip-Hop and Liturgical Dance.
Greeters are stationed at various entrances around the building to greet and offer assistance to worshippers as they enter the sanctuary. They are among the very first persons that members and visitors will meet as they come for worship.
The Nurses Guild can be found faithfully providing medical assistance when needed during worship services. All persons in this ministry must have CPR Training.
The Ushers assist in setting the appropriate mood and creating a positive atmosphere for worship. They assist with the way worship service is conducted. To usher means to show around, to introduce or to escort into a room. It is the art of making members and visitors feel comfortable and to help lend a Spiritual dignity to the whole worship experience.
